Chris Dens, DDS
Chris​ grew up in the Brainerd Lakes Area and is a 3rd generation dental provider! Chris graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2014 and is a current member of the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Chris enjoys activities such as fishing, hunting, waterskiing, hiking, and spending time outdoors with his family.
Did you know Chris started our famous Brainerd Ski Loons? He enjoys teaching community members different disciplines of waterskiing. You can check out their shows next summer!
Sam Duberowski, DDS
Sam grew up in the Brainerd area and has been a part of the team since 2022. He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2018 and served as a dentist in the Navy. Sam is a current member of the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He enjoys spending time with his family and living close to friends in the area. He has two energetic, delightful, growing boys to keep him and his wife, Sarah, busy every day. You might spot Sam biking in Crosby, fishing on a local lake, or hunting for something in the woods.

Two days per week, Sam provides much-needed dental care at Lakewood Health System for adult patients with special needs. He enjoys the combination of working in a hospital setting and at Cosmetic and Family Dentistry.

Darlene Zemke, MSADT
Darlene joined the C & F family in May, 2023. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Masters of Science in Advanced Dental Therapy and Bachelor's in Biology from Metro State University in Saint Paul, MN. She is an active member and the current treasurer for the Minnesota Dental Therapy Association.

Darlene brings many years of dental experience. She earned her dental hygiene degree in 2008 with honors from Century College in White Bear Lake, MN, was a dental hygiene instructor, and has experience working with orthodontic, endodontic, and facial pain specialists.
Darlene​ has fond childhood memories of camping in the Brainerd Lakes Area. She loves being on the water whenever possible and enjoys fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and exploring our beautiful BLA area with her husband and two daughters.

Garrett Skonseng, DDS
Garrett was born and raised in Fargo, ND. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2014 from the University of North Dakota, and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2018. Since that time, he practiced for two years in Minnesota and four years in Nebraska. Garrett is a current member of the American Dental Association. Like Dr. Chris, his grandfather was also a dentist.

With his free time, Garrett enjoys spending time with his family and friends, especially with his toddler-aged daughter. He enjoys the great outdoors--such as hiking, camping, spending time on the water at the family lake cabin in the summer, and snow skiing in the winter.
